Transfer Driver

Compensation Range: $15.00–$18.00 hourly. Location: 103WHolbrookRd, Glenwood, IL60425. Transfer Driver – support the U‑Haul community by transporting equipment between centers, dealerships and repair shop. Use U‑Haul’s proprietary technology, perform visual inspections, maintain driver log, and assist with additional duties as needed. Responsibilities Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically. Transport U‑Haul equipment between U‑Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop. Perform visual inspections of equipment. Maintain a driver log. Assist in additional areas as directed by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Able to use mobile transfer programs. Work Environment The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, such as exposure to moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear (masks, goggles, gloves, shields) may be required. Physical Demands Requires some physical exertion, including long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50lbs.
