Quality Assurance Specialist

Put your electronics inspection expertise to work with cutting-edge AOI and X-ray technology while helping ensure every PCB assembly meets the highest quality standards. SALARY: $22-$28/hr. DOELOCATION: Hillsboro, ORSCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm*Drug screen and background check required upon offerWHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLEWork hands-on with advanced PCB inspection technology, including AOI and X-ray equipment.Play a critical role in ensuring high-quality electronic assemblies meet industry standards.Build and strengthen valuable skills in SMT, through-hole, and electronics quality inspection.Enjoy a detail-focused role where your technical expertise directly supports reliable, high-quality products.WHAT YOU’LL DOInspect SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards.Operate AOI and X-ray inspection equipment to identify defects and quality issues.Perform first article inspections and accurately document inspection results.Review drawings, BOMs, and work instructions to verify assembly and quality requirements.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORElectronics manufacturing and quality inspection experience.Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and PCB/SMT/through-hole assemblies.Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, drawings, and assembly instructions.Experience with AOI, X-ray inspection, and basic measuring tools; AOI programming preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed visual inspections of PCB assemblies and operating inspection equipment.
