Construction Project Engineer

As a Construction Project Engineer, responsibilities include managing project schedules, budgets, and quality control, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes and regulations. This person will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders like architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

Project and schedule management

* Develop and maintain project schedules, plans, and objectives.
* Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned.
* Manage project phases from planning through execution, obtaining permits and closeout.

Cost and budget oversight

* Assist in preparing cost estimates and bids.
* Track and manage project costs and assist with change orders.
* Review subcontractor invoices and manage the budget.

Quality assurance and technical support

* Inspect work and conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
* Provide technical information and assistance to the project team.

Communication and coordination

* Serve as a central point of communication between the owner, designers, and construction teams.
* Facilitate meetings and report on project progress, problems, and status.
* Address discrepancies in designs by coordinating with architects and subcontractors.
* Handle and generate technical documentation, such as RFIs and submittals.

Pay- $70-85k
