Job Summary Provides direct care of CVMS patients (post op day one CABG, thoracotomy and vascular surgery patients). Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor vital signs and patient status. Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, and pain management. Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Requirements RN license in state of assignment. BLS and ACLS required. Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills. Hospital settings (CVMS patients (post op day one CABG, thoracotomy and vascular surgery patients)).
