We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, preparing rooms for patient visits, and collecting and entering patient information into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Our clinic specializes in a variety of care areas, including chiropractic, alternative medicine, spine care, and pain management. The Medical Assistant will also receive training to set up rooms for procedures in specialty areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Rooming and Preparation: Room patients and prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Data Collection and Entry: Collect vital information from patients and accurately enter data into the EMR system.
• Assist in Specialized Care: Support various types of care, including chiropractic, alternative medicine, spine care, and pain management, by assisting healthcare providers during patient visits.
• Procedure Room Setup: Set up rooms for procedures in specialty areas, following specific protocols and guidelines to ensure readiness and safety.

Essential Skills

• Active Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 plus years of recent medical assistant experience
• Epic experience
• Scheduling experience
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be willing and able to learn new skills
• Procedure experience preferred

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The primary location is in Menomonee Falls but may occasionally require coverage in Wauwatosa. The work environment offers learning and growth opportunities as the clinic is part of a teaching hospital. You will be trained in fluoroscopy as well so schedule bay start early during training days!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
