**Service Advisor – Full Time**

*Independent Auto Repair Shop*

We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position — no weekends.

**Responsibilities**

- Greet customers and build trust through clear, honest communication

- Write repair orders (ROs) and translate technician diagnoses and DVI findings into clear, accurate customer estimates

- Present findings and recommended repairs, explaining parts and labor in terms customers understand

- Follow up with customers throughout the repair process on approvals, timelines, and additional findings

- Manage multi-point inspection results and prioritize recommended repairs with technicians

- Schedule appointments and manage shop workflow/capacity

- Source parts, verify pricing, and manage vendor communication as needed

- Close out ROs, process payment, and ensure a smooth customer pickup experience

- Maintain strong CSI (customer satisfaction) scores through proactive, transparent service

- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals along with GP (gross profit) and ELR (effective labor rate) targets

**Requirements**

- Minimum 8 years of experience as a service advisor or automotive service writer required

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to read and interpret technician diagnostics and DVI reports

- Comfortable with shop management software and point-of-sale systems

- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
