Location: Tyler, TX Pay: Pay Range $32.08 - $36.09/hour Shift: Most openings are 2nd & 3rd ShiftWhat You'll Do:Coordinate, participate in, and assist with the construction, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of production and operational equipment.Maintain and repair machines that utilize hydraulic and pneumatic controls used in the production of cast iron pipe and fittings.Assist the supervisor with planning, scheduling, and assigning maintenance tasks.Order necessary parts and materials from the warehouse or purchasing department to support equipment installation and upkeep.Locate, diagnose, and repair issues within mechanical systems and equipment.Work safely with electrical hand tools, power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments.Read, interpret, and help others understand detailed blueprints and technical drawings.Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to identify root causes and restore operations while minimizing downtime.Always follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Communicate completed work and equipment status to your supervisor, the next shift, and the maintenance scheduler.Keep your work area clean, safe, and orderly.Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.QualificationsHave verifiable and consistent work experience.Pass a written exam to demonstrate knowledge of various millwright topics. (The result will be used to determine a candidate's base knowledge for the appropriate starting wage.)Pass an employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test.
