MRI Technologist

MRI Technologist position available. Facility has a significant number of licensed beds and is designated as a Level I Trauma Center. Department sees an average of 40-45 patients per day. Patient types include adults and pediatrics from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses. All departments have a lead technologist, modality supervisor, and imaging manager. The team consists of members with various years of experience, ranging from new graduates to long-tenured teammates. The technology used includes Siemens 1.5T magnets and the electronic medical record system EPIC. Travelers will fill shifts as agreed upon in the contract, with no rotation between weekends and weekdays. Call requirements will be determined based on a fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates. Travelers are expected to assist with holiday coverage unless prior approval is obtained. Department culture encourages good teamwork, high clinical skill sets, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Scrub color for technologists is black.
