SHIPPING & RECEIVING LEAD

CFX Products is hiring for our CFX North operation in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania.We are open to both English and Spanish Speaking Applicants.This position is based on-site at our Hazle Township facility and supports production operations at that location.MAIN OBJECTIVELead and oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions to ensure accurate, timely, and quality-driven flow of materials and finished goods. This role supports production efficiency and customer satisfaction by maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring shipment integrity, and driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESLead Shipping & Receiving OperationsOversee daily shipping and receiving activities including order fulfillment, material intake, packaging, crating, and outbound logistics to meet production schedules and customer delivery expectations.Ensure Accuracy & Quality of Shipments and InventoryVerify all inbound and outbound materials for quantity and quality, ensuring alignment with purchase orders, packing lists, and customer requirements; document and photograph shipments prior to release.Manage Inventory Control & Kanban SystemsMaintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems; implement and sustain Kanban processes to ensure proper stock levels, minimize shortages, and support production flow.Coordinate Cross-FunctionallyPartner with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment on material needs, delivery timelines, and inventory requirements.Supervise and Support Team MembersProvide guidance, training, and support to shipping/receiving personnel; reinforce accountability, teamwork, and adherence to company standards and KPIs.Optimize Material Flow & StorageOrganize stockroom and staging areas; ensure efficient material placement, accessibility, and traceability throughout the facility.Maintain Safety, Compliance, and Workplace OrganizationEnforce all safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards in alignment with the CFX Team Member Manual .Drive Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements in packaging, inventory management, and logistics workflows to increase efficiency and reduce waste or damage.Support Inventory Audits & ReportingAssist in cycle counts, monthly and annual inventory audits, and reporting to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.Required to follow all company Safety Rules and Procedures. (including but not limited to PPE)Required to maintain consistent and acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager as well as the Team Member Handbook.Meet departmental goals and defined key performance indicators (KPIs).Other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or GED required2–4+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse operationsPrior leadership or Lead experience preferredExperience in millwork, manufacturing, or wood products environment preferredProficiency with ERP/inventory systems (Infor Visual preferred)Forklift and pallet jack experience preferredAbility to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shiftStrong working knowledge of packaging, logistics, and inventory best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, or similar toolsSKILLS/COMPETENCIESStrong attention to detail and quality focusLeadership and team development capabilityProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and cross-functional collaborationHigh level of accountability and integrityContinuous improvement mindsetAbility to read and interpret shipping documents and instructionsStrong safety awareness and enforcementPossesses the ability to understand and follow instructions.Ability to work collaboratively and well with teammates.Want to stand out?
