Position Overview

• Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Strong potential to transition to a permanent internal position)
• Pay Rate: $23.55 – $26.75 / hour
• Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional weekend event support with schedule hours adjusted accordingly; no overtime anticipated)
• Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days on-site / 2 days remote (Wednesdays are mandatory on-site; employee chooses the remaining remote days)
• Location: Aurora, CO (On-site parking available; self-paid)
• Equipment: Client provides all necessary hardware and software (laptop, peripherals, etc.)
• Interview Process: Virtual interviews via Zoom

Position Summary

A premier healthcare education institution located in Aurora, CO is seeking an Admissions & Student Affairs Recruitment Specialist . This role supports prospective student recruitment, enrollment outreach, and scholarship services across undergraduate and graduate healthcare programs, certificates, and academic pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in higher education, admissions, or high-touch customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospective Student Outreach: Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective students and their families via phone, email, and in-person visits, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Campus & Event Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate prospective student visits, including campus and simulation center tours. Assist with logistics and execution for recruitment events and webinars.
• Systems & Data Entry: Maintain timely, accurate records of prospective students and recruitment events within enrollment management systems (Salesforce, Greenvelope).
• Data & Assessment: Distribute event evaluations, collect and analyze feedback data, and report findings to the Admissions and Student Affairs team.
• Digital & Material Logistics: Facilitate website content updates to ensure accurate admission and program information. Manage recruitment collateral inventory and request supply replenishments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Healthcare, Public Administration, Communications, Psychology, Social Science, Liberal Arts, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. (A combination of relevant education and technical/paraprofessional experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, student affairs, marketing, sales, or customer service.
• Software Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual presentation tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce and/or Greenvelope preferred).
• Screening Requirements: Completion of standard criminal background check and professional reference checks.

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience presenting and public speaking to group audiences in person and virtually.
• Background in higher education advising, student recruitment, or academic event planning.
• Outstanding written and oral communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and establish rapport with diverse groups across all levels of the organization.
