Energy Center-Manhattan Pool
Manhattan, Kansas | Full-Time | Year-Round
$23-$27 per hour, based on experience

Energy Center-Manhattan Pool is looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our year-round construction team.

For more than 20 years, we have designed and built custom swimming pools and outdoor spaces. Our projects involve excavation, concrete, structural work, site preparation, pavers, decking, equipment installation, and finish work.

You don't need experience building swimming pools.

We're looking for people with general construction or concrete experience who understand the basics of working on a jobsite, using common tools, following directions, and producing quality work. We'll teach you the specialized skills involved in swimming pool construction.

Applicants from outside the Manhattan, Kansas area are welcome to apply if interested in relocating for a long-term opportunity.

You will work alongside an experienced construction crew on a variety of tasks, which may include:

• Site preparation and cleanup
• Measuring and layout
• Excavation and grading support
• Concrete and structural work
• Building forms and assisting with rebar
• Installing pavers, decking, and other finish materials
• Assisting with pool construction and equipment installation
• Safely using hand and power tools
• Maintaining clean and organized job sites
• Following project plans, instructions, and safety procedures

No two projects are exactly the same, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to continue building their construction skills.

• Previous general construction, concrete, landscaping construction, excavation, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Familiarity with common construction tools and basic construction terminology
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Willingness to work overtime when project schedules require it

Swimming pool experience is not required .

• $23-$27 per hour, based on experience
