Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position located in Independence, Missouri. The role offers career stability, professional growth, and the chance to provide exceptional patient care within a supportive healthcare environment. Candidates may travel occasionally to Overland Park, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and healthcare providers

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols

Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the clinical team

Accurately document patient information, treatments, and care plans using Matrix EMR

Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and care instructions

Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Active Missouri LPN license required

Compact nursing license or active Missouri and Kansas LPN license required

Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Preferred Skills:

Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience highly preferred

Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Experience with Matrix EMR strongly preferred
