This position offers the unique opportunity for a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional and serene environment. The flexibility of a Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM schedule supports work-life balance, while still enabling you to provide essential services to our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand the backgrounds and needs of clients, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual circumstances.

  • Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed therapy to individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that interventions are sensitive to diverse backgrounds and experiences.

  • Collaborate closely with a team of professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer advocates, to create cohesive care plans that enhance treatment outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and optional peer consultation groups to enrich your practice and enhance professional development.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through in-house training sessions and continuing education opportunities, remaining current in best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Mentalis Health and Wellness, you will work with a vibrant and diverse clientele. Our clients deal with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. You will be responsible for building therapeutic relationships that facilitate healing and personal growth, utilizing your skills to empower clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

  • Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California. We also welcome applications from pre-licensed MFTs who are under supervision.

  • A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient mental health settings, family systems, or couples therapy.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational capabilities for maintaining accurate and timely records.

  • A commitment to providing equitable and culturally responsive care, with a continuous pursuit of professional development.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a flexible caseload independently in a remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
