Project Manager

Manages all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion; acts as a liaison between Operations and stakeholders within all departments to deliver project completion on time.

Essential Functions:

1. Identify and develop proposed solutions for objectives on new internal or external projects.
2. Organize and secure appropriate resources for projects; review, assess and analyze vendor proposals.
3. Ensure timely and effective delivery of recommended solutions into production. Monitor progress goals of new projects.
4. Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures.
5. Develop, train and transition processes to operations team for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. As the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams.
7. Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects.
8. Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
9. Responds to inquiries about projects.
10. Chairs various project review and project planning meetings.
11. Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions.
12. Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
13. Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties as it relates to project delivery.

Marginal Functions:

1. Run, maintain and distribute project planning reports.
2. Travel as necessary to support startup operations.

Job Specifications:

1. College degree in Business or related field with at least two years of progressively responsible project management experience including at least two years of experience in project management or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Will accept 5+ years' experience in related field in lieu of a degree.
