EMPOWERING OURS TO EMPOWER YOURS State Tractor is looking for An Experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic who is self-motivated, reliable and can represent State Tractor off-site and on-site professionally. Experience within the heavy equipment industry and those who can work flexible schedules for service calls. What are the Benefits? Responsibilities: · Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heavy and light equipment and vehicles. · Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts · Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order · Tags out of service issues and informs Supervisor. · Professional etiquette and Team player attitude · Travel is required to assist customers. · Ability to complete service calls efficiently and on time. Required: · Mechanical Experience in the heavy equipment industry. · Background clearance to travel to Railroads. · Stable work history. · Valid DL and ability to obtain Medical Card. · Team player attitude. · Ability to pass a drug screening and lift test.
