Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses in PreOp/PACU!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Preoperative and PACU care!
- Enjoy the flexibility of choosing between 4x10s or 5x8s scheduling options.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient and family outcomes.
- Provide exceptional nursing care based on the highest Standards of Care and Professional Nursing Practice.
- Engage in comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Foster a patient- and family-centered environment that adapts to the evolving needs of those we serve.

Requirements:


- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Certifications:
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of recent Preoperative or PACU nursing experience
- Preferred experience in Pediatric Preoperative/PACU
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong clinical care and practice in airway management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in discharge teaching and critical thinking.
- Float Expectations: Willingness to float between Preoperative and PACU as needed.

Traveler Needs:


- Total Positions Requested: 4 RNs
- Schedules:
- 2 RNs: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 2 RNs: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Information:


- Scrub Color: Navy
- Required: Flu Vaccine (Medical Exemptions Only)
- Submit with standard Qualivis cover sheet and proof of Ohio or Compact license.
- Pediatric experience is essential and at least one recent managerial reference.
- Local candidates are welcome at the same rate.
