Project Manager (HVAC)

Project ManagerBerg Enterprises, Inc., seeks a Project Manager to take charge of regional commercial mechanical and plumbing projects throughout the company's three regions.This role will be based in Houston, TX. Occasional to frequent travel to the various regions is expected, but it will generally be at the Project Manager's discretion. This position reports to the Director of Projects.Responsibilities:Understand commercial mechanical/HVAC systemsManage the following with accuracy and timeliness:SubmittalsRequests For Information (RFI)Contracts and subcontractsProject schedulesMaterial & equipment procurementProject budgetsChange requests and change ordersCustomer billing and subcontractor billing reviewLead meetings among BEI employees, subcontractors, and clientsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other industry professionalsUnderstand contract drawings and specifications, especially mechanicalLead project safety cultureRecommendations:Direct mechanical project management experienceAdditional knowledge and experience in plumbing, building automation, and other MEP-related tradesProven negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train othersProficiency with Google Workspace, Oracle NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and other business or construction management softwareCompensation:We offer competitive compensation, medical, dental, vision, and a host of other benefits.
