Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at a facility with a large cardiac patient population and units that include Telemetry, Medical, Tele, and Rehabilitative services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Aurora, Colorado
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum 1 year of current acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience; candidates must have at least 2 years of Telemetry experience; current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Colorado.
• Preferred Qualifications: Chemo Certification (ability to schedule on the oncology unit) is a plus.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include caring for a large cardiac patient population, floating across all inpatient medical, telemetry, and rehabilitation units. Flexibility, willingness to float, team-oriented attitude, and compassion are essential qualities. The role offers a great opportunity to learn and care for patients with varied medical issues, both acute and chronic.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
