Clinical Laboratory Scientist- Reporting (Tuesday-Saturday)

Guardant Health seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform high-complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens, operate analytical equipment, and ensure quality control compliance. The role involves remote work on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule in a precision oncology diagnostics setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses according to standard operating procedures
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment and systems
• Review, interpret, and report patient results in laboratory information systems
• Execute quality control procedures and document corrective actions
• Supervise unlicensed laboratory personnel during the analytical phase

Requirements

• Active California CLS or CGMBS license
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science, or related field
• High-complexity laboratory experience, preferably within the past year
• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and laboratory regulations
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication abilities
