Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment to generate diagnostic and therapeutic images for physicians.


Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology, radiologic technology, or related field.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist credential as required by Texas (Texas Medical RT Certification Program).
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine specialization).
• BLS Provider certification.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Required experience operating Siemens Symbia nuclear medicine equipment.
• Experience ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as the sole technologist on shift, exercise critical thinking, and make decisive judgments under stress while following radiation safety guidelines and Standard Precautions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital-based nuclear medicine experience in a 24/7 clinical environment.
• Experience with PACS submission workflows and troubleshooting imaging equipment malfunctions.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-15:30.
• Shift schedule: Days.
• Must be capable of functioning independently as the sole technologist on shift.
