INDUSTRY – Process Automation / Food & Beverage Systems A leading provider of automated process solutions is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their engineering team. This hands‑on role covers the full project lifecycle—from system design and documentation to commissioning and customer training—supporting a variety of process and industrial automation applications. Experience within projects across Food & Beverage sectors is a pre‑requisite for this position. The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 2–5 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within process automation or machinery sectors. Strong skills in PLC programming, electrical design, and documentation. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Windows OS. Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition is a plus. Ability to create control system designs based on P&IDs and layouts. Excellent communication and project coordination skills. The Control Systems Engineer duties will involve: Designing PLC code, sequencer pinning, and I/O checkout documentation. (Allen-Bradley predominantly). Creating electrical schematics and network architectures. Specifying control equipment and estimating costs. Leading Functional Design Specification meetings and Factory Acceptance Testing. Overseeing onsite commissioning and providing operator training. Supporting continuous improvement of internal control standards. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality automation solutions.
