Neuro Telemetry RN - 3x12-Hour Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with weekends required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to float between units in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in neurology nursing and be adept at managing post-surgical neurology patients along with various neurology diagnoses. This role requires proficiency in utilizing the NIH scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neuro patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and manage dysrhythmias.
• Assist with pre/post neurosurgery care and procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
• Utilize hospital systems for charting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Neuro RN experience required.
• Comfortable with NIH scale.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
