Dietary Aide (East Palestine, Ohio)

As a Dietary Aide at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents. In this part-time position, you will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that our guests receive high-quality, appetizing meals that cater to their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits, as well as cooking and preparing meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and sanitation standards
• Assist with resident meal service, including setting tables, serving meals, and ensuring that guests have everything they need
• Restock and replenish food and supplies, as needed
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and celebrations, such as birthdays and holidays
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure that dietary needs are met and concerns are addressed
