Contract: 13 Weeks

Shift: Full-Time (Schedule to be discussed during interview)

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join a busy Obstetrics department providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns

• Perform OB triage assessments and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)

• Serve as the second nurse during deliveries

• Manage postpartum and overflow patients as needed

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery

• Support patients experiencing pregnancy, labor, delivery, or postpartum complications

• Collaborate with OB physicians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements:

✔ Active RN License
✔ Recent Labor & Delivery (L&D/LDRP) experience
✔ Must be labor-trained
✔ Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
✔ Current STABLE Certification
✔ Intermediate (or higher) Fetal Monitoring Certification
✔ BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
