Associate Dentist — Part-Time

Dr. Eric Batterton, DDS | Delaware, Ohio

Dr. Eric Batterton, DDS is a well-established, growing private practice in Delaware, Ohio, seeking an  Associate Dentist for 1–2 days per week .

This is a great opportunity for a dentist who values  quality dentistry, long-term patient relationships, and a stable, experienced team —without the pressure of working in a high-volume corporate environment.

• 100% fee-for-service — we are not contracted with dental insurance fee schedules, which creates strong earning potential for an associate.
• Established patient base — the practice is busy and growing with minimal marketing.
• Exceptional team stability — our front desk team member has been with us for 10 years, and our hygienists have been here for 10, 16, and 19 years.
• Experienced support team — 7 team members plus the dentist, including 2 dental assistants.
• Independent private practice — you’ll work directly with Dr. Eric Batterton in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
• Future ownership opportunity — for the right dentist, there is potential to buy into the practice after establishing a strong relationship and helping grow the practice.

Part-time, 1–2 days per week , with availability on:

• Monday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–5:15 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00–6:15 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00–6:15 PM
• Thursday: 6:30 AM–approximately 2:00 PM, no lunch

The ideal schedule can be discussed based on your availability.  Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday are preferred.

• $70–$100 per hour guaranteed starting compensation, based on experience
• Transition to 30% of net collections, less lab fees , after an initial transition period, or sooner if production supports the model
• The length of the initial guaranteed-compensation period can be discussed based on experience and demonstrated production

We’re looking for a dentist who is:

• Committed to high-quality, comprehensive dentistry
• Focused on patient relationships and long-term care
• Comfortable with bread-and-butter general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, implant crowns, dentures, and partials
• Experienced dentists are welcome, and exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Interested in building a positive, long-term relationship with the practice

We are open to different levels of commitment. This could be a great fit for someone looking to work  one day per week for several years , someone interested in 1–2 days per week on an ongoing basis , or a dentist who ultimately wants to take on a larger role in the practice.

Advanced procedures are a plus, but excellent general dentistry and patient care are what matter most.

This is the first time Dr. Batterton has brought an associate into the practice. The practice has remained consistently busy while doing very little marketing, and Dr. Batterton is interested in gradually reducing his workload while creating opportunities for another dentist to grow with the practice.

For the right dentist, there may be an opportunity for  future buy-in and ownership after establishing a strong relationship with the practice. However, ownership is not required—this position can also be an excellent long-term opportunity for a dentist who simply wants to work  one or two days per week in a stable, established private practice.
