Requirements MD candidates preferred. Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program. Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited program. Fellowship in Electrophysiology completion required from an accredited program. Board certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required. Current Texas license or willingness to obtain. Seeking a candidate ready to practice immediately who has at least two years of practice experience post-fellowship. About the job Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) Heart & Vascular Specialists Fort Worth, a large cardiology practice founded over 50 years ago. EP specific practice with general cardiology on-call responsibilities. This is a cardiology practice with 23 physicians and 13 APPs that practice in 8 locations. Currently, there are three (3) full-time cardiac electrophysiologists. Weekend call schedule is 1:6.
