Disc Jockey - Activities Staff

Disk Jockey (DJ) / Cruise StaffWe are seeking an experienced and energetic Disk Jockey (DJ) / Cruise Staff to join our onboard Entertainment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional musical entertainment, engaging with guests, and creating memorable onboard experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional DJ entertainment that ensures outstanding guest satisfaction.; Manage guest requests and feedback efficiently and professionally.; Host and interact with guests using effective microphone and presentation skills.; Operate sound, lighting, and nightclub equipment safely and effectively.; Select and mix music according to guest preferences, demographics, and venue atmosphere.; Support Cruise Staff activities and other entertainment programs as required.; Maintain a positive, approachable, and guest-focused attitude at all times.;

Qualifications and ExperienceValid STCW95 Certification.; Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar entertainment role, preferably within an international 5-star hospitality, cruise, resort, or entertainment environment.; Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.; Physically and medically fit for shipboard employment.; High level of professionalism and integrity.;

Skills and Knowledge

Strong background in DJing and live entertainment.; Excellent knowledge of current and classic music across multiple genres.; Strong microphone, hosting, and audience engagement skills.; Experience in radio or television broadcasting is an advantage.; Sound knowledge of nightclub operations, sound systems, and lighting equipment.; Ability to read audience preferences and adapt music selections accordingly.; Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.; Candidate Profile
