Interconnections Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Project Manage r or Interconnection Project Manage r to support utility-scale generation and load interconnection projects. This role will serve as the technical lead for interconnection studies, transmission system analysis, and grid impact evaluations throughout the interconnection lifecycle This is a highly technical role requiring hands‑on experience with transmission planning, interconnection studies, cluster studies, and power system analysis Responsibilities Lead technical evaluations for generation and load interconnection requests Perform and review Feasibility, System Impact, Facilities, and Cluster Studies Assess thermal, voltage, stability, and short‑circuit impacts on the transmission system Develop and review transmission upgrade recommendations Evaluate transmission system configurations, substation topologies, and interconnection alternatives Collaborate with utilities, developers, and engineering stakeholders Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Ensure compliance with applicable FERC requirements and industry standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineerin g or related fiel d 5+ years of transmission planning and/or interconnection experience Experience supporting generator, renewable, battery storage, data center, or large load interconnections Strong understanding of: Feasibility Studies, System Impact Studies, Facilities Studies, Cluster Studies, Transmission Planning Analysis Preferred Background Interconnection Engineer Generator Interconnection Engineer Transmission Planning Consultant Experience with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, or transmission owners is strongly preferred.
