(USA) Store Manager - Division 1/Neighborhood Market

Position Summary Upholds the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies and procedures, and providing resolutions. Proactively seeks associate comments and concerns by meeting with associates in their work areas. Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs, encouraging associates and managers to serve as members of the community, establishing relationships with key individuals or groups, presenting the Company’s perspective to external organizations, following media guidelines, and championing sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts. Drives financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, leading the management team in controlling expenses, developing and implementing corrective plans, overseeing budgets, and analyzing economic trends and community needs for forecasting. Provides direction to hourly associates and managers on customer service, complaint resolution, facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Drives sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and assessment of economic trends. Ensures the success of the Academy training environment and store standards, creates an engaging culture, integrates Academy associates into leadership meetings and activities, provides training, job shadowing, culture championing, and supports talent planning and succession planning. Executes multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, adjusting performance, and building contingency plans. Provides supervision and development opportunities by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based environment, establishing performance expectations, conducting performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards, coaching for success, and promoting a sense of belonging. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethics of integrity and compliance, and utilizes the Open Door Policy to ensure business needs are met. Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence. Responsibilities Maintain the Open Door Policy and resolve associate concerns. Lead community outreach and represent the Company externally. Drive financial performance and control expenses. Oversee customer service, complaint resolution, and facility operations. Ensure effective merchandise presentation and inventory management. Manage the Academy training environment and store standards. Execute business plans and projects with measurable performance. Supervise and develop associates, conduct evaluations, and promote teamwork. Support company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively. Promote talent acquisition, empowerment, and recognition. Act with integrity and support regulatory compliance. Deliver excellent customer service and data-driven decisions. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Qualifications 4 years general management experience, including financial accountability. 4 years supervising 50 or more exempt and non‑exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. For firearms facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition only facilities: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility if required. Successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments, including Academy trainings and Open Door trainings. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U. Experience running a fresh or dry grocery area. Additional certifications or experience that enhance performance in a retail environment. Benefits & Compensation Annual salary ranging from $95,000.00 to $145,000.00.
