We're hiring a Sr. Software Engineer, AI Enablement to help build the technical backbone of AI adoption across the organization: the connectors, internal tools, and workflows that let teams actually use AI in their day-to-day work, plus the hands-on training to get them there.This is a hybrid build-and-teach role. You'll be writing code and shipping infrastructure, and you'll also be in the room with non-technical teams helping them understand and adopt what you've built.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Train users across departments and brands on AI tools and workflows, translating technical capability into practical, everyday useDesign and build the core AI infrastructure for the organization: custom connectors, internal applications, and integrations between AI tools and existing business systemsWire up automated workflows that connect AI capabilities to data sources and operational systemsBuild and maintain data pipelines and integrations supporting AI use cases across brandsPartner with stakeholders across OluKai, Melin, Roark, and subsidiaries to identify high-value AI opportunities and turn them into working toolsEvaluate emerging AI models, tools, and platforms, and recommend what's worth adoptingEstablish security and data-governance practices for AI tools that touch company systems and dataTrack adoption and report on impact across teamsDocument systems and workflows so they're maintainable and adoptable beyond your own deskRequirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required5+ years of professional software development experience, with proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languagesStrength in building integrations and APIsComfort working with AI/LLM tooling and a genuine interest in applied AI (not just theory)Experience building internal tools or connectors that talk to multiple systems (e.g., Slack, Microsoft 365, Google Drive, Notion, Shopify, or similar SaaS platforms)Strong communication skills; you can explain technical concepts to non-technical users without talking down to themComfortable working independently and building things from a blank pageBalanced judgment on safe, appropriate AI use, especially with company and customer dataFamiliarity with data platforms (e.g., Domo, BigQuery, or similar) is a plusActively seeks out AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies, adapting quickly to leverage them for improved productivity, deeper insights, and more effective processes, while exercising sound judgment and maintaining compliance with organizational standardsPreferred Qualifications:Deep experience with several of the following: Claude, ChatGPT, Vercel, n8n, GitHub, Cloudflare, or MCP (Model Context Protocol) serversBackground supporting multi-brand or multi-entity organizationsLocation & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. On call as needed and subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
