Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Postpartum Nurse (L&D PP) in a healthcare facility specializing in labor and delivery and postpartum care. The position involves providing patient-centered care, supporting maternal and neonatal health, and performing clinical procedures in a high-acuity environment. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on safety and quality care delivery. Job Details: Position Description: Supports maternal and neonatal health through patient care, clinical procedures, and education in a postpartum and labor and delivery setting. Required Qualifications: One year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience, graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, lab draws, high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin), urine point of care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, IStat, adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn, newborn medication administration, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers, support gyn teaching & post-operative bladder training, maternal-newborn teaching. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience, minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience, minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
