$17.24/hour, based on experience. Per diem Homemaker at The Shores, a UMC senior living community in Ocean City, NJ. Choose from 6a–2p, 11a–7p, or 4p–7p shifts, based on what fits your schedule. Apply today, hear back within 48 hours.

You'll handle both dining service and light housekeeping, including laundry, for residents at The Shores. United Methodist Communities has been Certified as a Great Place to Work for 9 years running, with more than a century of service in New Jersey.

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, following menus, recipes, dietary needs, and food safety rules
• Accommodate special diets and food substitutions for residents' nutritional and personal preferences
• Ask residents for input on food choices, menus, and how meals are presented
• Assist residents with eating and dining support, following your training and care guidelines
• Follow sanitation, food handling, and temperature monitoring procedures
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, and report any equipment issues
• Manage grocery inventory and handle housekeeping and laundry duties, including resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

What You'll Need:  

Required:

• Willingness to complete ServSafe certification after hire
• Willingness to complete Dining Assistant Training after hire
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred:

• 1 or more years of related experience
