Technical Logistics Manager
Job Description
Serve as a technical expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
Develops, refines, analyzes, and issues logistics policies for assigned programs applicable to one or more DoD components.
Exercises full program responsibility for automated logistics systems.
Serves as a senior command representative and spokesperson in communicating program matters.
Duties may also include FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS): As an FMS technical expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from the concept through field deployment. Provides expert advice for complex FMS case management issues and ascertains that overall program performance is achieved as projected.
