Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy and rehabilitation services within a school setting for the 26-27 school year. The role focuses on delivering speech and language interventions primarily to preschool-aged children. Candidates must hold a valid Washington State SLP license and ESA certification. Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children.
• Assess and evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in meetings related to student progress and therapy planning.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Washington State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
• Eligibility to work with preschool-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Clinical Fellowship (CF) status is accepted and encouraged.
• Experience working in school-based or early childhood settings.

Special Considerations:

• Position is school-year based (26-27 school year).
• Work primarily with preschool age group.

Scheduling:

• Follows the school calendar and schedule for the 26-27 academic year.
• Typical school day hours with potential for collaboration and meetings outside therapy sessions.
