Staff Financial Analyst

:

• Assist in the analysis of data and extracts and defines relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project a future trend
• Perform moderately complex statistical analysis of data reported in the various banking and financial systems
• Develop reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
• Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports
• Participate in various projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
• Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, coursework in Finance or Accounting preferred

• At least 18 years of age
• 1 to 2 years related analytical experience and/or system/database development experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Access
• Oracle SmartView and Financial Reporting experience preferred
• Capable of meeting strict deadlines
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized
• Capable of multi-task and meeting strict deadlines
• Able to effectively work with employees at all levels
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
