Now Hiring: Admissions Counselor Newport Beach, CA- $70,000-$80,000/year (Based on Experience) - Schedule: Thursday-Monday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Experience with Zoho CRM PreferredPosition SummaryRenaissance Recovery is hiring an Admissions Counselor to support new clients and their families during the intake process. As the first point of contact, you'll assist with screenings, insurance verification, documentation, and ensure a smooth transition into care.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to intake and inquiry callsComplete admission screenings and gather client informationEnter data accurately into EMR (Kipu) and Zoho CRMVerify insurance benefits and coordinate pre- authorizationsPrepare and manage all admission-related documentationCommunicate any client concerns to the clinical teamSupport client retention and satisfaction during onboardingQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 1 years' experience in drug/alcohol or behavioral health admissionsComfortable with EMR systems; Kipu experience a plusExperience with Zoho CRM (preferred) or similar systemsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solveCore CompetenciesResponsiveness: Answers intake calls promptly and professionallyAttention to Detail: Completes all documentation and data entry with accuracyTech Proficiency: Efficient with EMR systems and CRM tools like ZohoClient Focused: Understands and supports client needs during a sensitive timeTeam Collaboration: Works well with clinical and administrative staff
