About the Role
Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Manager to grow our online presence and bring the Genesis community to life. This role oversees corporate social media accounts, manages influencer marketing campaigns, and works with more than 90 clubs to strengthen their local social channels.

We’re looking for someone who can turn great ideas into compelling content, build relationships with our audiences, and connect social media activity to brand awareness, club visits, and membership growth.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Social Media & Content

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles.
• Manage the corporate content calendar, including planning, copywriting, scheduling, and publishing.
• Collaborate with our videographer, designers, and marketing team to create engaging videos, photos, Reels, Stories, and other platform-specific content.
• Highlight member stories, club amenities, fitness expertise, team members, promotions, and community events.
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities that fit the Genesis brand.

Local Club Support

• Work with all 90+ clubs to improve their social media presence while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
• Provide content calendars, templates, posting guidelines, training, and campaign support to local teams.
• Coordinate local content submissions and identify stories worth sharing across the organization.
• Help clubs keep their social channels and Google Business Profiles accurate, active, and engaging.

Community Engagement

• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, reviews, and mentions in a timely, professional, and personable manner.
• Build conversations that help members and prospective members feel connected to Genesis.
• Coordinate with club teams and customer service to address questions and escalate concerns.
• Connect membership inquiries with the appropriate club or sales team.

Influencer Marketing

• Identify and build relationships with relevant fitness, lifestyle, and community influencers.
• Manage influencer outreach, campaign briefs, deliverables, timelines, and content approvals.
• Coordinate club visits, collaborations, and ambassador opportunities.
• Track campaign performance, referral traffic, leads, and other measurable results.

Performance & Reporting

• Track engagement, reach, video views, audience growth, website traffic, and membership inquiries.
• Provide concise reports explaining what is working, what needs improvement, and recommended next steps.
• Test content formats, messaging, and posting strategies to improve results.
• Partner with digital marketing to identify strong organic content for paid promotion.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional social media management experience, ideally with a multi-location, fitness, hospitality, or lifestyle brand.
• Hands-on experience managing Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profiles, TikTok, and YouTube.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong content creation, audience engagement, and measurable results.
• Experience planning and managing influencer marketing campaigns.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt content to different platforms and audiences.
• Strong understanding of short-form video, social media analytics, and community management.
• Experience with social media scheduling, reporting, and content creation tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, locations, and deadlines.
• Sound judgment when responding to public feedback and sensitive concerns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with corporate and club-level teams.

Preferred Experience

• Supporting social media across multiple locations.
• Creating and editing short-form video.
• Managing Google reviews and local business profiles.
• Using tracking links, referral codes, or CRM tools to measure leads generated through social media.
• A passion for fitness, wellness, and building community.
