FMLA Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Primary contact for employees requesting FMLA leave.
• Review FMLA leave requests and determine eligibility in compliance with applicable laws/regulations. Facilitate timely processing of requests.
• Maintain confidential records related to FMLA in accordance with Company policies and legal requirements.
• Daily Monitor and track FMLA usage.
• Monitor usage trends by day, department and employee and report out finds and suggestions to make improvements
• Work collaboratively with Springfield P&C team members and departmental management.
• Provide training/education on FMLA to managers and employees.



Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations.
• Knowledge of ADA administration.
• Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Suite, HRIS systems, Kronos)
• Previous experience working in a Union environment.
• Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• At least 5 years of FMLA administration experience
