About the Position

Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: MT Specialty: Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must be licensed in ND: MT-L Certifications: ASCP or AMT required Must-Have: - Generalist experience - Phlebotomy skills - Familiarity with LIS Systems (EPIC & BEAKER) - Proficiency in using specific laboratory equipment including Siemens Dimension EXL/EXL 200, Sysmex XN1000, ORTHO workstation, and others Description: No clinical involvement. Profiles go straight to the manager for consideration. Must have a generalist background covering Hematology, Coagulation, Serology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Gram Stains. The position requires performing phlebotomy. Work will involve rotating holidays including Thanksgiving and New Year. Weekend requirement is every 3rd weekend or more if requested. No self-scheduling is allowed, and no call or standby call requirement is needed. Department specific orientation will be on site with the Lab Director and Lab Coordinator. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
