Manager, Clinical Data Management

Worldwide Clinical Trials

Clinical data management leader responsible for team oversight, project execution, and budget management at a global CRO. Role includes staff development, study escalations, sponsor interactions, and process improvement initiatives within the Data Management department.

Responsibilities

Provide management and leadership oversight of data management teams and assigned projects for study execution
Act as primary escalation point for study-specific issues and represent company at sponsor governance meetings
Manage departmental personnel including allocation, training, mentoring, and performance reviews
Lead process improvement initiatives and serve as subject matter expert for designated data management processes
Participate in sponsor audits, regulatory inspections, and business development proposal preparation as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or related field
Minimum 9 years clinical data management experience in pharma, biotech, or medical device
2-4 years of line management experience
Expert knowledge of data management best practices and clinical trial technologies
Advanced understanding of clinical trial protocols, statistical analysis plans, and CRFs
Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Compensation: $99,000-$196,000 annually
