Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department professional position is based in a healthcare facility providing specialized obstetric care. This role involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients, assisting with labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal procedures, and supporting a culturally diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, valid compact state license, and at least 1 year of recent patient care experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, anesthesia, neonatal care, postpartum teaching, and various obstetric procedures, with circulation during cesarean sections and support during vaginal deliveries.
• Candidate must be willing to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
• Submittals: Candidates must respond to prior work at Providence facilities and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
