As a proud member of the Middleby Corporation’s family of food service brands, Imperial continues its legacy of commitment to excellence. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Drafter to join our team.
The Manufacturing Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for manufacturing processes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Converting product designs into detailed technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software
- Interpreting and incorporating design specifications and engineering notes into the drafting process
- Working closely with engineers and staff management to understand the requirements of the project
- Reviewing and modifying designs to ensure they meet manufacturing requirements
- Checking drafts and blueprints for accuracy and completeness
- Creating and updating bill of materials (BOM) for manufacturing processes
- Preparing documentation for the manufacturing and assembly processes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing procedures, standards and specifications
- Revising and updating technical drawings as per modifications and improvements
