About the Position

Job Title: Procedure Center RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute or outpatient experience License: Active California RN license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: General surgery experience required Experience in a fast-paced environment EMR experience verified Description: The position requires a Procedure Center RN. Candidates must possess general surgery experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EMR is necessary. ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required. The RN will work with pediatric patients aged 1 day to 24 years, with adult patients on rare occasions. Responsibilities include assisting with minor surgical cases such as ENT, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology. The candidate should ideally have experience in the majority of specialties listed. Willingness to train for endoscopy is preferred. Strong skills and experience in a fast-paced setting are crucial for success in this role. Candidates should be agreeable to weekend shifts and call requirements. Functioning within an interdisciplinary team will be expected. This position does not require floating to other areas but may involve occasional weekend coverage.
