We are hiring a Line Operator to join our team! You will operate machinery and equipment, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Sets up and controls automatic hot-dip lines to finish parts with a protective finish of phosphate such as zinc phosphate, manganese phosphate, and black oxide. You will read a production schedule to determine the setup of lines. Turn on controls and valves to set temperatures of phosphate tanks and overflow of rinse tanks. Verify the temperature of tanks with handheld thermometers. Inspect finished products for defects such as rust, dust, and uniformity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Report any mechanical failures
• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
• Perform routine Preventative Maintenance Checklists
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Manage and control automatic lines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with production work orders
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
