Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families, to ensure well-rounded patient care.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress and continuity beyond clinical appointments.
• Provide inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary, assuring a seamless treatment journey.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans meticulously, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in your field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preference given to candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
