RN OR- Operating Room
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in the Operating Room (OR) for a rewarding travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. This role involves providing patient care through the complete nursing process in a fast-paced operating environment. The selected candidate will work closely with Nurse Managers and the Department of Anesthesia to ensure high standards of care.

Key responsibilities of the RN OR Operating Room include:
- Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
- Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
- Maintain accurate and current patient records
- Demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse and in Computerized Nursing Informatics
- Coordinate daily operating activities of the OR
- Assist in supervision of personnel to ensure quality patient care
- Provide and control materials and supplies for OR operations
Requirements of the RN OR Operating Room include:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- One year OR experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
- Proficiency in English communication
- Capability to use a lead apron
- Two references within the past two years
- Completion of a skills checklist and competency exam within six months
