Job Description Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Palliative Care Inpatient Unit, where you will provide compassionate care for patients navigating the complexities of symptom management and end‑of‑life care. This role requires a strong background in PCU nursing with at least one year of experience, where your expertise in IV insertion, central line management, and advanced monitoring techniques will be crucial. You will work within a collaborative environment, performing essential tasks such as managing epidurals, tracheostomies, and administering various intravenous medications. In this unique setting, with a manageable 1:5 RN‑to‑patient ratio, you will engage in self‑scheduling to maintain a work‑life balance. You will utilize your skills with advanced equipment such as wound vacs and PCA pumps, while ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs. You will also have the opportunity to further enhance your skills by monitoring cardiac rhythms and placing nasogastric tubes, all in support of a small patient population within a nurturing team atmosphere.
