Core Faculty Hospitalist Physician

WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group) is actively seeking a full-time Core Faculty Hospitalist Physician, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Internal Medicine / Hospital Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. The successful candidate must have completed an Internal Medicine residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. We are a growing academic hospitalist section that affords the faculty member teaching opportunities of residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers in both a one-on-one setting, as well rounding teams covering inpatient consults for the Department of Medicine.

The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer.
