Position Summary: The HR Manager is responsible for creating and supporting an engaging workplace culture, ensuring legal compliance, and implementing HR systems and processes that support facility objectives. Works closely with department heads to address workforce planning needs, resolve employee relations issues, and develop talent management strategies that attract, retain, and develop top performers. In the absence of the Director, is responsible for the daily operation of the Human Resources Department. Maintains Lawson and Workday HR system for accuracy and provides reports as needed. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor\'s Degree in HR or related area required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or Business. Background/experience in compensation, employee relations, and employment law. Prioritization, problem solving, organizational skills, and critical thinking skills required. Computer skills required. Human Resource certification (PHR, SPHR, etc.) preferred. Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment. Job Functions Talent Acquisition : Oversees recruitment efforts and supervises the recruitment team. Analyzes HR metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies that improve employee retention. Metrics include turnover, exit interviews, and stay interviews. Collaborates with in-house and external marketing resources to direct recruitment and retention marketing strategies. Employee Relations : Serves as primary point of contact for employee concerns, conducts investigations, and mediates workplace conflict. Works with Director on final outcomes of investigations. Lawson and Workday Data Integrity and Troubleshooting : Provides accurate maintenance, processing, and tracking of all employee transactions. Creates reports and resolves issues promptly. Compensation & Benefits : Runs annual merit process. Manages compensation documents and conducts regular market analysis for competitive positioning.
