Job Description:

Title: PACU RN – Critical Care

Schedule: Variable start time: 6:00 AM - 10:30 AM; 4 ten-hour shifts.

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

- BLS and ACLS certification required

- Critical Care Course completion within 1 year of hire

- Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire

- PALS certification within 1 year of hire for PACU/SDS

- Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 6 months of hire for Perinatal

- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire for Labor & Delivery

- Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire for Labor & Delivery

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Monitor patients post-anesthesia for complications and provide critical care as needed.

- Administer medications and IV sedation per protocols.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery plans.
